Along with Fashion Design, I gained a passion for metalsmithing and jewelry making and spent two years exploring various techniques and designs. My style in jewelry making is very abstract and fun, I believe jewelry is an extension of the wearer, and should embody their personality as such.
I often used brass or copper in my pieces, and used different techniques such as soldering, annealing, finishings, and bending to manipulate the metal into my designs.
Throughout my designs, I was very influenced by organic shapes and historical architecture, incorporating, cathedral elements and shapes from nature into playful accessories.
My schooling in metalsmithing & jewelry making has gave me a new appreciation for jewelry and design, and I hope to continue creating fun, trendy, and unique pieces in the future.
